Welcome from our principal
On behalf of the staff and students of Edensor Park Public School, I warmly welcome you and your child/ren to our school community.
Edensor Park Public is located in the well-established residential area of Edensor Park. The school motto “Achieving Together”, not only creates a sense of belonging, but encourages all students to do their best. The motto is reflected in all areas of school life at Edensor Park Public School.
Edensor Park Public School has 14 permanent classrooms, administration building, library, community hall, canteen, covered outdoor learning area, play equipment and a multi-purpose court. The facilities in our school include comprehensive telecommunications networking: internet, intranet, and email access for all staff and students. Each of our classrooms have a digital data projector unit and an interactive whiteboard installed. They also have access to several stand alone computers and iPads. Our library offers flexible learning
spaces with class access to chrome books and iPads, as well as a green screen technology room. These facilities support modern teaching practices and aim to equip students for a future of lifelong learning.
Teaching and learning programs focus on developing literacy and numeracy skills, knowledge and values. Extra curricula activities such as dance, drama and public speaking along with students’ needs and interests provide a comprehensive curriculum. Fitness and sport is another important aspect of our school life, which enable all children to experience success and achieve their full potential.
Here at Edensor Park Public School, we are future focused, and we continue to reshape our teaching and learning model to ensure that our students are prepared for the 21st Century. To enable the students of Edensor Park Public School to use educational technologies to apply knowledge to new situations, analyse information, collaborate, solve problems, and to make decisions, we are constantly updating our learning spaces to provide the students with the opportunities which are critical to their future success.
A dedicated and enthusiastic staff are working together with parents and students to make Edensor Park Public School a strong, dynamic and caring learning community.
